FAQs
What is Threads Media Downloader?
Threads Media Downloader is a Chrome/Edge extension that adds a download control to Threads.net / Threads.com profile pages, allowing you to batch‑save publicly visible images and videos directly to your computer. It runs entirely in your browser and does not send data to external servers. The tool is independent and not affiliated with Threads or Meta.
How do I use Threads Media Downloader?
Profile media (bulk)
- Open a user's Profile page on Threads.net / Threads.com
- Click the download button beside the Media tab
- (Optional) Name your target folder and click Start Download
Single post (all media in one post)
- Open the post's detail page
- Click Download Media next to the username at the top
- The post's images and videos download to your device
How do I set the default download location?
You can enter a folder name before saving an image. Consequently, during the download process, we'll create a new folder under your "Download" folder bearing the name you've specified. All the images that you downloaded during this session will be saved in this folder. However, if you do not specify a name, our system will automatically generate a new folder for your download.
What is the difference between a Free account and a Pro account?
With a Free account, you can download 10 images at a time. A Pro account allows you to download videos and download up to 5,000 items simultaneously. Pro users also receive premium support.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your premium subscription at any time by clicking the PRO button in the extension popup window, clicking the Pro button to manage the subscription, and updating your payment information.
Drop us a line [email protected] if you have any questions about your subscription.
